Are North Korea & the U.S headed to War? Likely

NORTHKOREASEOUL, SOUTH KOREA:  North Korean state media reported today that the country’s estranged leader has apparently ordered the military’s rockets & missiles ready for U.S attack.  According to The New York Times, Kim Jong Un made the order today — sparking worry across most of China & some of Russia.

“The United States is fully capable of defending itself and our allies,” said Lt. Col. Catherine Wilkinson, a Pentagon spokeswoman in Washington.”North Korea’s bellicose rhetoric and threats follow a pattern designed to raise tensions and intimidate others.”

The New York Times also notes that North Korean soldiers per an anonymous military source have been spotted moving towards a western border closer to China, where their first missile launched in December.

The amp-up comes just one day after the United States carried out out of the ordinary bomb practices across South Korea — some of which appear to have upset the likes of Un.
