MONTREAL QUEBEC, CANADA: Remember that gruesome killer who dismembered a Chinese student and than posted the video online? Erm, he’s back and in court for his first preliminary hearing since the slaying of Jun Lin. The National Post reports that Magnotta’s lawyers are reportedly trying to force the media out of the courtroom, however an official decision from the judge won’t be heard until Tuesday morning.
Daily News correspondent Stacy Kingsley is in Quebec, and will update this report tomorrow morning.
UPDATE: A judge ruled last week that the press will be allowed inside of the hearing.
