[Breaking] Three more arrests in connection to Boston terror attacks made


TSARNAEVBoston, Massachusetts: The Boston Police department has confirmed that three additional arrests  have been made, but have not yet confirmed whether or not they are connected to the Tsarnaev brothers. According to The Mail Online, authorities made the arrests early this morning but refused to proclaim whom or what the suspects were about.

According to Boston news stations — one of the three arrested is an American citizen charged with making false statements to police.

As news of Syria’s alleged use of chemical weapons continues to spread — The U.S White House is reportedly planning to send arms to Syrian rebels; however officials say no decision is imminent just yet, despite heavy threats from the Obama administration to the Syrian government.

The move previously despised by the Obama administration would mark an almost expected reversal on the President’s part, especially after Bashar Al-Assad upped the ante using chemical weaponry. The Los Angeles Times notes  that the administration is also apparently planning to provide non-lethal equipment such as night vision goggles, armor, and other beneficial equipment to rebels in coming days.

“We continue to consider all other possible options that would accomplish our objective of hastening a political transition,” said Caitlin Hayden, spokeswoman for the National Security Council.

France building collapse kills 2


931415-6-20130428083236Champagne, France: Officials & search and rescue teams confirmed today that a 5-story building collapse in France’s champagne country killed 2 and left at least 9 others injured. Searches for missing individuals are underway. The collapse was apparently caused by an explosion which is currently being investigated.

 

Report: After bombing, Tsarnaev brothers wanted to ‘Party’ in NYC

The revelation comes today following reports that Tsarnaev, 19 was questioned once again in connection to the bombings that killed dozens in Watertown, Massachusetts.

 

New revelations in #AdamLanza case: Apparently beaten by Sandy Hook classmates


lanzaSome outlets have dubbed it an ‘exclusive’ others have dubbed it a possible motive in the mass killing that occurred last year at Sandy Hook Elementary School. According to The New York Times — mass shooter Adam Lanza, who attended the school as a child was apparently beaten and heavily bullied by his former classmates at the school.

Sources spoke to the  Times claiming that Nancy Lanza at one point had considered a lawsuit because she felt the school was ignoring the abuse.

 

BBC accused of endangering students

London: A journalist from the BBC is under scrutiny this morning after he accusations and evidence supporting claims that he smuggled himself into Pyongyang North Korea last month surfaced. John Sweeney, of London’s School of Economics reportedly used a group of traveling studying students to sneak into North Korea — without thinking that he was endangering the lives of those students he had been traveling with.

According to CNN, Sweeney and his wife traveled with a cameraman only telling students that a ‘journalist’ would be tagging along for the trip. During the trip, they filmed footage for the BBC series ‘Panorama’

Bali jet skids off runway into ocean [No, this actually happened]


BBC1BALI, INDONESIA:  Just miles off the Indonesian island, a  Lion Air jet, a Boeing 737-800, found itself skidding off a runway during landing and right off into the ocean. The jet, reportedly carrying some 100 individuals didn’t face any serious damages — and all of the passengers are safe. [BBC]

 

Government investigates Beyonce & Jay-Z’s trip to Cuba


bey11HAVANA, CUBA:  Two Florida Republican’s suddenly gained an interest in Beyonce this week after photographs of thy and her hubby Jay-Z appeared online — roaming the streets of Havana Cuba. The trip itself was meant to be an anniversary gift to Bey from Jay; however the U.S government has launched an internal investigation into how the two managed to get into Cuba without proper documentation and verification through Federal officials.

CNN reports that  the two Republican’s in question apparently feel that Cuba is a ‘danger’ to U.S residents and Beyonce and Jay-Z should’ve kept that in mind when traveling there.

Woops: Massive Exxon oil spill in Arkansas town leaves critics reeling


EXXONLITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Reuters confirmed this evening that a massive oil spill in Arkansas (courtesy of Exxon Mobile/Canadian crude products) occurred. The spill reportedly left some 22 homes being evacuated as fears of damages risen.

The spill was detected late Friday in a Mayflower, prompting Exxon Mobile to shut down its Pegasus Pipeline.  Officials assured Daily News that the oil has not spilled into any lakes. Critics have already caught wind of the spill, pouncing on the incident —  being quoted as saying this is a prime reason the Keystone Pipeline XL should not be finished.
