Smart? Bill Gates will personally pay you to invent a sexier condom

US-CHARITY-GATES-FOUNDATIONThink you’ve got what it takes? Well, first it’ll take the balls to actually approach Bill Gates and hold a straight face talking about the next big line of condoms. The Gates Foundation announced on a blog today that they’re planning to pay the next big inventor who can make the next condom — that appeals to all ‘shapes and sizes’ next to no condom at all.

“What if we could develop a condom that would provide all the benefit of our current versions, without the drawbacks? Even better, what if we could develop one that was preferred to no condom?” The Gates Foundation’s blog reads.

Fashion: A new wave of organic shoes for America #ProjectPiola

PIOLA1The fashion world is always ever changing — brands like Gucci recently launched eco-friendly shoes, bags, and awkward looking tops; and the trend is catching on.  Piola Footwear, of Peru, is hoping American’s can catch on to the organic-eco fashion trend by helping them raise $60,000 in hopes of having a successful American launch.

Piola, is solely made of organic materials from the jungles of Peru (..no, literally..).  Quite cool, but the men behind this are definitely brave.   The project has already gained steam being featured in Harpaar’s Bazaar U.K,  Bazaar Daily America , American hip-hop website Sohh.com, and several other mainstream media outlets.

The shoes themselves look absolutely radical. I personally love the Elm blue high-tops, and can’t wait to get my hands on them.  I think the move to go organic especially from the Peruvian jungle, was absolutely brilliant — and likely why the group has already halfway to $10,000 in under 24 hours.
