Beyonce talks losing that baby weight

BEYBEY

Anyone who seen the fabulous cover of GQ in January — knows it isn’t very hard for Beyonce to lose the baby weight she gained after giving birth to Blue Ivy. In the April issue of Shape Magazine,  Beyonce is back, and once again showing off her amazingly toned body.

“I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again,” Bey told the health and fitness magazine. “I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”

NYC prepping for large sugary drinks ban

GULPNEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: As NYC restaurants across the city prepare for the big ban on sugary drinks, residents of the iconic city have lashed out against the ban — with some even calling it ‘ridiculous’.

One NYC resident who identified herself as Lisa Carmicle told Daily News ‘See, I’m not overweight not unhealthy. It isn’t my fault or the next person’s fault that somebody else is overweight and probably has diabetes. I should be allowed to buy a freaking sugary drink, when I darn well please’.

There’s a caffeinated chewing gum coming to a store near you

WRIGLEYEnergy drinks? Begone! At least that’s what Wrigley hopes. In a statement announced this morning — the candy maker revealed that next month they will begin selling ‘Energy Gum’ as some have called it. What is Energy Gum, you say? Well apparently it contains half the normal level of caffeine that coffee contains — which may be healthier for some than expected.

Wrigley doesn’t expect it to have allot of pep, as they remained ‘cautious’ and ‘sensitive’ to the energy drink ‘pep’ controversy as a whole during production.

For first time U.S toddler CURED of #HIV

RURAL, MISSISSIPPI: According to doctors in a small neighborhood of rural Mississippi, a new groundbreaking discovery in the world of HIV/AIDS research has been made. Doctors say a toddler born with the illness has been ‘functionally’ cured of the disease all together — sparking national attention as an official cure for the disease as a whole looks possible.

Doctors told The New York Times that the baby was treated with  antiretroviral drugs just 30 short hours following birth, something that isn’t usually done (by any means).  The cure has been verified, although how exactly remains unconfirmed. If confirmed fully, the young girl will become the 2nd person in American history to have ever been cured of the disease.

“For pediatrics, this is our Timothy Brown,’’ said Dr. Deborah Persaud, associate professor at the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and lead author of the report on the baby. “It’s proof of principle that we can cure H.I.V. infection if we can replicate this case.’’
